Zazen, our meditation practice, is the core discipline of Zen. Zazen develops an alert and calm presence with whatever arises moment by moment. Participants will receive guidance for establishing regular zazen practice. We will address the basics of posture, breath and mental activity. Use of a chair will be possible. Each class will include zazen instruction and discussion. Participants able to set aside 10–30 minutes daily or several days each week for meditation will benefit most from this class.
