Practice circles are small, intimate sharing groups whose emphasis is on the development of our personal spiritual intentions and practices and how we maintain them. They meet on a consistent basis usually over a longer period of time. They can center around a certain topic or simply provide practice support.
With Byakuren Judith Ragir.
We will investigate practices and spiritual disciplines that will meet each of our individual conditions. How do I practice with the conditions and situations that are arising in my life right now? We will work on both incorporated formal zen practices (at the center and at home) with daily mindfulness exercises used in the middle of our active lives according to our specific conditions. Maximum 15 people.
Every other Monday
April 6, April 20, May 4, May 18, June 1, June 22 & July 6
6:00 pm–7:30 pm

With Raisei Marc Anderson.
To live more simply is a wish, a recommendation and a model we hear from leaders, teachers, traditions and from our own hearts. Those concerned with bodies, minds, the earth and the spirit all sing this mantra. But what does it mean to live simply? Is it something we should aspire to and how would we do that if it is? This group will meet to explore this topic from as many angles possible through readings, practices and discussion. Together we will open the horizons of this topic for each other and also tap into the work of others in many areas that are taking up this direction.
Every other Saturday, ongoing, beginning April 11
10:00 am–11:30 am
