We all possess a creative impulse. It is expressed through us in myriad forms. Where does this spark come from? How can we nurture it, encourage and respect it in ourselves and others? What can we learn about the world and our place in it by looking deeply at creativity, it’s source and its energies? In this four-week course we will explore and expand our understanding of creativity and its place in Zen life and language. We will learn African drum rhythms, explore poets, journal, draw and study the writings of Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. Together we will discuss and enact how we might live our lives more fully, embracing and nurturing the dynamic potential of abundance.
